who’s that girl?
Annalise grew up in Danville, California, and began her training at the Next Step Dance Studio. She started dancing at a young age and quickly began to spend every afternoon at the studio. At 14 years old, Annalise traveled with her studio to Europe to perform in the Stars of Tomorrow’s Young! Tanzommer Festival. It was on this tour that Annalise decided dancing was not just a hobby, but a career path she wanted to follow.
Annalise moved to New York City to attend college at Marymount Manhattan College. Annalise graduated with honors and a Bachelors of Arts in Dance, with a concentration in body science and motion. Annalise also attended Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester Program where she trained under Jim Cooney and Sheila Barker. During her summers, Annalise participated in the Rockette’s Summer Intensive and Axis Connect’s Bicoastal Intensive created by the Barton Sisters.
Annalise has been seen as a dancer in Brugal’s 1888 Secret Sips series and as a Lead Model for MeMoi’s Fall Collection. Annalise was an Ensemble Swing for DanceBreak’s Showcase, and recently performed in “Christmas in the Air” as a Tinsel Toe.
When Annalise first began to dip her toes into the industry, she was prepared for a world where it was “every man for himself”. What she found were the most unique, creative, and inspiring people she’d ever known. She found a community that knew how to work hard and how to celebrate those around them. As an artist, she strives to inspire connection and emotion. For every audience member, and colleague to feel seen. To create a sense of light and magic both on and off the stage.
